The Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum is seeking volunteers for the 2008 season

The Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum Volunteer program offers many opportunities to take part in and support the historic mission of the Granger legacy.

Some of the opportunities include: greeting visitors, acting as tour guides, helping in the gift shop and the many education programs offered to area schools, special events, restoration of the gardens, becoming part of the Carriage Committee in the Carriage Museum and special projects maintaining the facility and the administrative offices.

The Homestead welcomes about 15,000 visitors a year for guided tours, carriage rides, education programs, motor coach groups and special events. Volunteers play an important role in offering these programs.

To learn more about the opportunities, the public is invited to an informational presentation followed by tea and refreshments, on Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th at 2 to 4 pm at the Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum, 295 N. Main St., Canandaigua.
Additional information is available by calling the Granger Homestead office at (585)394-1472 or e-mail Info@grangerhomestead.org.

Become a Granger Homestead volunteer and help us. WE MAKE HISTORY FUN.

The rewards are many.
