Description Oil painting of Mindwell Granger in a gold finished frame with carved inner trim. She is wearing a white lace cap, black Empire style dress trimmed with black lace at neckline and and a gold chain belt at the waist. On back of frame is label: "Mindwell Pease by an unknown artist, bequeathed by Miss A.P. Granger to the Memorial Art Gallery and lent by the gallery to the Granger Homestead Soc., Inc." Painting given or bequeathed to the Memorial Art Gallery in 1926 and 1930 by Antoinette Pierson Granger. (From 1946 correspondence GHS/MAG)
