Description: Oil painting of Mindwell Granger in a gold finished frame with carved inner trim. She is wearing a white lace cap, black Empire style dress trimmed with black lace at neckline and and a gold chain belt at the waist. On back of frame is label: "Mindwell Pease by an unknown artist, bequeathed by Miss A.P. Granger to the Memorial Art Gallery and lent by the gallery to the Granger Homestead Soc., Inc."
