Object name Table, Sofa

Description Empire style sofa table of rosewood with brass inlay. Small drop leaves and supported on a rocker shaped pedestal on four legs. Brass carved feet with leaf decorations end each shaped leg. The base is completely inlaid with narrow strips of brass. The top of the table has a wide band of wood veneer close to the edge of a lighter wood. The front side has a panel in the center with a brass flower design. On either side this central motif is repeated and expanded upon with a leafy pattern, all very symetrical.
