Travel back in time as one of our knowledgeable docents leads you through the Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum.  Listen to stories of the four generations of Grangers, who lived in this magnificent home from 1816-1930.

Civil War Encampment

 

Visit the Granger Homestead’s Civil War Encampment to see living history at its finest. This annual event is co-sponsored by the Granger Homestead and Reynolds Battery L, 1st New York Light Artillery.

The re-enactors set up camp and live on the grounds during the weekend. This event is open to school students Friday September 28, from 9:00am – 2:00 pm. The public is welcome Friday from 2:00pm-4:30m pm and Saturday September 29th, from 9:00am to 4:30 pm.

On Friday, the cost of the encampment is $3.50 for students and $3.50 for accompanying adults.

On Saturday, the cost is $5.00 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 5-12, and children under 5 are FREE.

Cannon Firings will be 11:00 am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm on Saturday September 29.

Vintage portraits on Saturday from 10:00am – 4:00 pm. Dress up in a Civil War uniform or vintage clothing and get your picture taken in sepia tone. 5x7 print with mat: $10.00
