Private Events at the Granger Homestead

Our gracious mansion is a perfect place for a special party. You may rent the Granger Homestead year-round. All the rooms on the first floor of the mansion that are open for tours are available to you and your guests. We will supply the tables, chairs, china, silver and crystal. Your caterer will do the rest.

Alcohol may be served by a caterer. We can provide a parking lot attendant for a small fee for large groups.

We have a baby grand piano for your use. Other music and musical groups are invited.

Children's Tea Party

What little girl wouldn't love to spend her birthday or any other day in a grand mansion being served cookies and tea. This memorable event is great for children ages 7-12.

The menu may include:

• Cut-out tea sandwiches
• Lady Bugs on a Log (Celery with cream cheese and dried cranberries)
• Teapot sugar cookies
• Tea or alternative beverage (pink lemonade or sparkling grape juice)
• Decorated sugar cubes

Cost:  $15.00 per child.  Your cost includes the use of beautiful hats, dresses, and accessories provided by the Granger Homestead.  A craft activities offered for $5 additional charge per child.

Bring your friends or Red Hat ladies to tea at the Granger Homestead. This special event can be catered to your group's needs.

A sample menu includes:

• Fresh baked scones with strawberry jam
• Fruit
• An assortment of tea sandwiches
• An assortment of desserts
• Tea or coffee

A tour of the mansion and carriages is also included. Carriage rides may be available - please ask.

Family Parties and Events

Bring your family to the Granger Homestead to spend time together to celebrate a birthday or other special event. with us. We will provide tables, chairs, china, crystal and silver. In the summer, you may use any of our three porches, or we an put the wicker furniture under a shade tree in the back yard for you to gather.

A caterer must be used for this type of event.  Alcohol may be served by the caterer. Granger Homestead pricing is based on the number of people in attendance. Tours and/or carriage rides may be arranged.

Music Concerts and Recitals

Our grand home is a perfect venue for a music concert. We have a baby grand piano available for use. Other instruments are welcome. We are able to set up chairs for up to 75 people to view a recital or concert.

The large dining room is a perfect place to serve food and drink to those attending the event.
