Home to four generations of the Granger Family, the Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum occupy a scenic 10-acre site on North Main Street, just a few blocks from downtown Canandaigua, New York, about 20 miles southeast of Rochester. 15,000 visitors come to the Homestead annually.
Open May 30 - October 26, 2007, Tuesday and Wednesday 1 - 5 pm, Thursday and Friday 11 am - 5 pm. Weekends during June, July, August and September 1 - 5 pm. Last complete tour begins at 3 pm. CLOSED ON MONDAYS.
Guided tours on the hour, 1-3 p.m. Tours also available for groups year round by appointment. Group rates apply.
Admission: $6.00 for adults, $5.00 for seniors, $2.00 for students. K-12 and pre-school age, free.
Volunteers contribute over $36,000 a year in time. This figure represents what we would spend if we had to hire people to do this work.
